I chose pain management because it is a field where you can feel like you are truly making a difference in someone’s life. Often times patients don’t realize that there are interventional treatments for their pain and they assume it is something that they will always have to live with. So by creating an individualized treatment plan for each patient we can help them to regain control of their life and get their pain well managed. It is very rewarding to help a patient with chronic pain be able to enjoy their life again and get back to doing what matters most to them. Another thing I love about the field of pain management is that it is quickly evolving. I thoroughly enjoy learning about all the new and innovative ways to treat pain.

My wonderful husband and I have a beautiful little boy and two dogs. In our free time we love to do anything outdoors or spend time with friends and family, especially going out on our boat, walks with the baby, and watching football games.
